Chef Alberto Izard, with over 35 years of experience in Michelin-starred kitchens, now leads D'Tapas. His culinary career has included work at some of Spain’s most prestigious establishments, such as El Cenador de Salvador(1 Michelin star), Coque(1 Michelin star), Sant Celoni(2 Michelin stars), and Pastelerías Mallorca, a renowned deli chain and catering company responsible for VIP catering at the Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid football stadiums. Chef Alberto spent 10 years at Pastelerías Mallorca and also worked at the Melia Madrid Princesa, one of Madrid’s premier hotels. He describes his cooking style as primarily Mediterranean, emphasizing seasonal ingredients. While he is a fan of traditional Spanish cuisine, he incorporates cultural fusion into his dishes, inspired by his travels and experiences.
